October 31, 2025: registration for the second edition of the LOWA Trail Trophy

The second edition of the LOWA Trail Trophy (LTT) will take place from May 14 to 17, 2026—the trail running stage race along the most beautiful trails between Allgäu and Tyrol. Following the successful premiere in 2025, the running community can look forward to an even more varied event: in addition to the classic 4-stage overall classification, 2026 will see the introduction of a 2-stage race on the last two days and a new relay race in which teams of two can divide the 4 stages between themselves as they wish.

The Setup: A Stage Race with Its Own Flair
The LOWA Trail Trophy (LTT) promises pure trail running excitement: 4 or 2 stages with distances ranging from 21 to 28 kilometers and up to 2,000 meters of elevation on spectacular trails. During the day, participants compete against each other in sporting challenges, while in the finish area and especially at the evening events—with awards ceremonies, Runners’ Dinner, and photo and video shows—the community comes together as a close-knit group.

The Trails: Trail Running at Its Finest
The LTT trails offer an exciting mix of runnable sections and technically demanding stretches, complemented by stunning views of the Lechtal Alps, the Zugspitze, and the Tannheimer rock faces.

The Timing: The Perfect Start to the Alpine Trail Running Season
Most alpine trail running competitions don’t take place before June, making the LTT an ideal season opener. The stages are exciting and spectacular, but not overly long or demanding, allowing muscles to gradually adapt to the strain.

The Target Audience: For Beginners and Ambitious Runners
Whether you’re a beginner, a recreational runner, or an ambitious trail runner, the LTT offers a suitable format for every level:
• 4-stage race for endurance enthusiasts
• 2-stage race for weekend starters
• Relay race for team players
